Context
I worked on Routd’s React Native app from April 2024 to January 2025. Background location isn’t something React Native handles on its own, so the core of the work was native code on each platform, bridged into the shared JavaScript app.

- Background location tracking through custom native modules in Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS)
- Real-time notifications over SignalR
